Day in the Life : NICU

I really like this video because it shows exactly what a neonatal nurse does and what they experience on a daily basis. At the beginning of the video it shows the nurse repositioning the baby so she can be comfortable. It really shows how much care she takes into moving the premature baby because they are very delicate. The video shows the different monitors and technology that helps keep the baby healthy. It also shows when the neonatal nurse is feeding one of the premature patients and I found this very interesting because in articles they only explain how they feed the babies and to see it actually being done was fascinating. I really liked when the nurse explained how the neonatal nurses were assigned to patients according to their comfort zone and that one nurse can stay with their patients so the parents could be more comfortable in their situation.  It shows how strong the bond of the nurse and the patient and patients family really is.
